Registration & Fees

There are two separate registrations needed to participate in Maine DI.

	National Registration: Purchasing a 2008 - 09 Membership allows you access to this year's Challenges and program materials. Click here to purchase your membership.
	Maine Celebration Registration: This registration allows your team to participate in one of the sanctioned Zone (Regional) Celebrations. There is no additional registration fee if your team goes on to States. The Maine Celebration Registration form is due January 12, 2009.

Each team must provide an appraiser and a volunteer for their Regional Celebration. Appraisers need to attend a training session and be available to go on to States should your team go on.

Complete one registration form for each team that will be participating in a regional celebration. We ask that you not send an incomplete form. Please read through the form to insure you have all of the information prior to starting to complete it. There is not a way to save the form once you start filling it in.

Once you have completed the form and prior to submitting it, please print the form and forward with payment to the address on the form.

The registration fee is $125.00 and must be sent with the registration form.

The registration form and the fee are due on January 12, 2009.

Registrations arriving after the 12th should include a $25 late fee

Regional Directors will try to accommodate teams that register late.

Registrations must include a commitment from and information on your team's appraiser.

	Appraisers must plan on spending the entire day at their assigned site. They may not be able to see the performance of a particular team or team member
	Appraisers must attend a training session prior to the Celebration date.
	Please have your appraiser go to the Appraiser Information page (information is not yet available for the 08-09 season) on our web site to register for training and Celebration.

Registrations must include a commitment from and information on your team's volunteer.

	Volunteers will work at the Celebration for up to 4 hours.
	We will attempt to allow the volunteer to see the performance of a particular team or team member.

Maine Celebration Policy

	Should your team not have a trained Appraiser, the team will be allowed to perform however, they will not be scored.
	Should your team not have a volunteer, the team will be allowed to perform however, they will not be scored.
	Should your team go on to State Celebration, your Appraiser and a volunteer must go on as well.
	Not all Challenges may be performed at every Regional Celebration. You will be notified if your Challenge will be performed at another site or on a different date.
